1. Work with your advisors (the board, customers, leadership team, etc.) to articulate Where the organization needs to go and Why that matters

2. Write the organization’s vision, values, and strategy at the top

3. Add the 3-5 most important goals

4. Complete these three things for each goal:

   • Success statement;

   • Success measure; and

   • One person to lead.
