A little off.

A little off.

This morning I accidentally hit something that rotated my screen 90 degrees.

That’s a cool feature, I guess, but I don’t know what I did so I don’t know how to undo it.

I tried for a bit to adjust. I could read by turning the computer but scrolling was all turned around and I didn’t get the hang of it.

So, I did what I always do. I restarted in hopes that it would go back to normal.

Well...

Here’s my screen after the reboot. 😕

I’m taking a pause and will ask a Google search to help me later today.

Today’s response happens when I’m my best self. My reaction doesn’t always follow these measured steps.

Think about days you’ve had that started out ‘a little off’ — car runs out of gas, two different colored shoes 👞 , oversleeping and being super late*, bringing the wrong notebook — and therefore your notes — to the big meeting 😳, ...

When you’re at your best how do you respond to these situations?

When you’re not at your best what happens? Are you usually reacting or responding?

What might you do the next time your day starts a little off to help you respond as your best self?
