Ants.

Ants.

For the last several weeks I’ve seen random solo ants 🐜 in the kitchen. Different times. One ant.

I see it. Get it. And go about my day.

Now I’ve seen a single ant in other rooms.

I get them and move about my day.

Sometimes treating things as “little nuisances” is just fine.

But how many times do we brush off important cues to something much deeper because we don’t have the emotional capacity to dig in?

Ants don’t take emotional capacity to deal with — thank goodness 😅— but dealing with the root cause does mean I’ll need to address it.

Do ants usually travel in packs of one? Of course not.

Let’s figure out where they’re coming from and take care of the issue at the root instead of waiting for all of their friends to join the party 🎉 — inside of our 🏡.

What little thing keeps showing up with you or your team that is simple to “take care of” and doesn’t cause much disruption? Is this really just a nuisance or is it a clue that there’s more going on than you see that you need to pay attention to?

Oh, if only everything was as straightforward as insect control!
